The Episode Guide
Episode # 1 - The Heart of the Cards The 1st show starts off with Yugi battling Joey. Yugi wins as usually and Yugi offers Joey a lesson in Duel Monsters with his Grandfather. At Grandpa's shop, Yugi's grandfather shows the group the rare card, Blue Eyes White Dragon. Suddenly Kaiba shows up and offers Grandpa tons of money for the card. When Grandpa did not accept, Kaiba challenged him and so Grandpa was forced to go to Kaiba Corp to battle and lose. Grandpa lost his Blue Eyes White Dragon, which Kaiba then tore into piece, and it was Yugi's turn to battle for the sake of his Grandpa. The battle was going along fine until Yugi found out that Kaiba had the other three Blue Eyes White Dragon cards and all three of them were on the field. Yugi then realized that he had 4 pieces of Exodia and only needed one more piece of the puzzle in order to release the Ultimate Monster. By believing in the cards and his Grandfather's hope, Yugi assemble all the pieces of Exodia and won the match against Kaiba, the Duelist Master.
Episode # 2 - The Gauntlet Is Thrown
This show begins with Tea beating Joey in Duel Monsters for 5 times in a row. After long hard training with Grandpa, Joey actually finishes 8th in the regional champions. The setting then goes to Yugi living room as he and his friend watch Rex Raptor battle Weevil on television. Weevil was able to win with a trap card. Just then, Yugi remembers a package that came in today. It was from Maximillion Pegasus. Inside was a dueling glove and two star chips along with an invitation to the Duelist Kingdom and a video. Yugi popped the video into the TV and engaged in a battle with Maximillion Pegasus. There was a 15 minute time limit and when Yugi was about to win, the time ran out and Yugi lost. With the Millennium Eye, Pegasus took Grandpa's soul and Yugi now must go to the Duelist Kingdom to regain his Grandfather back. Pegasus created the Duelist Tournament in order to draw in the holders of the Millennium pieces.
Episode # 3 - Journey to the Duelist Kingdom
Joey receives a letter from his sister, Serenity. She was born with very poor sight and could go blind very soon. Joey loves her very much and decides to go to the Duelist Kingdom to battle and win the two million dollar prize. With this money, he could then pay for a surgery that will help serenity. So it was set, Yugi and Joey were now going to both enter the Duelist Kingdom competition and win for their loved ones. However, Joey couldn't board the ship leaving to the Duelist Kingdom because he wasn't invited so Yugi gives Joey a star chip so he can board. They are both at a disadvantage because they both only have one star chip while everyone else has two. Tea and Tristan also board the ship by taking the sneaky approach. Later that evening, Mai is complaining about her room and battles Rex raptor for his room and wins by using some fake ESP. Weevil also asked Yugi permission to see the legendary Exodia and was granted this. He found a way to beat it and that was to destroy the cards so they can never be used against him in a battle. Weevil threw the pieces of Exodia into the ocean and Joey jumps in to try to retrieve the pieces but fails. The next day, the group arrives at the Duelist Kingdom.
Episode # 4 - The Ultimate Great Moth (a.k.a. Into the Hornet's Nest)
Now that the gang are at the Duelist Kingdom, Pegasus explains the rules of the competition and lets all of the duelist free to wander and battle as they please. Those with 10 star chips in their possession will move on to the finals. Yugi and his friends wander into the forest and spots Weevil. Yugi challenges Weevil for what he did on the ship. They battled greatly and when it came down to the final points, Yugi used water and electricity to win over Weevil's bug type monsters. Yugi now has 3 star chips and 7 more to go.
Episode # 5 - First Duel!
The friend are wandering around again wondering about how Joey will do when he battles. Just then they see a kid complaining about how Mai cheats and know the cards faced down. Mai see the gang and challenges Joey because he only had one star chip. Joey accepted and battled blind because Mai tricks made him hesitate about his strategy. Mai then used a magic card to multiply her cards, but with some thinking and the help of Yugi's borrowed cards form aboard the ship, Joey caught on to Mai's tricks. Mai used perfume on the cards and by smelling the different scents, she was able to tell which card was which. Joey then regained confidence and used the Time Wizard to transform a Baby Dragon to Thousand Dragon and to make Mai's Harpies Ladies older.
Episode # 6 - Attack from the deep
Everyone was hungry until they spotted some fish cooking. Yugi and his friend were stuffing their faces until Tsunami a water duelist came out and caught them eating. He allowed them to continue eating when he saw Yugi, but in return Yugi must battle Tsunami. The field that they battled on as half land and half sea. The land soon turned into more water, but in the end Yugi won when he destroy the moon that he placed out himself. Since the moon controls the waves and tide of the ocean, destroying it dried up the sea and beached Tsunami's monsters making Yugi the winner.
Episode # 7 - Everything is Relative
Pegasus plans on taking complete control of Kaiba Corp and in order to do so he must get rid of Kaiba and take advantage of his brother, Mokuba. Also, to make his plan even better, he sends out a fake Kaiba to battle Yugi. The fake Kaiba has all the cards as the real Kaiba's deck. Meanwhile, the real Kaiba is in a secret computer room trying to hack into the Duelist Kingdom's computer main frame to help Yugi and avoid losing Kaiba Corp. Can you believe that the password to the Duelist Kingdom was Pegasus!!! Now just as Kaiba reaches the mainframe, Yugi is up against a Blue Eyes White Dragon!
Episode # 8 - Duel with a Ghoul
The battle between Yugi and the fake Kaiba continues. The real Kaiba and the Duelist Kingdom's computers are battling it out by hacking into each others computers and working their way through to find the area in which Yugi is located. Kaiba finds the field just as a Blue Eyes White Dragon is about to attack Yugi. Yugi was able to buy sometime by using the Magical Hats magic card. Just as The Blue Eyes White Dragon began to attack, his attack points began to lower dramatically as the real Kaiba uploaded a virus. In the end, Kaiba had to run away to avoid getting caught, but he helped Yugi enough to make Yugi victor. The fake Kaiba was actually a spirit from the demon realm that possessed Kaiba in the 1st episode. With the help of Yugi's shadow powers, the demon was returned back to the realm and was sealed there.
Episode # 9 - Give up the Ghost
Mai spots Rex Raptor and makes herself visible to get his attention. Rex Raptor then challenges Mai to seek revenge for kicking him out of his room. Mai said she will accept only if Rex defeats Joey in a battle. Meanwhile, Joey receives a card from Tristan and says he doesn't need any help or pity from his friends. Then, Rex Raptor challenges Joey and he accepts but he must receive no help from his friends or else he'll be disqualified. Joey still accepts and begins the battle very overconfident and then drifts off into the unsure world. At times, he accidentally defeats one of Rex's monsters but in the end, it was the friendship of Tristan and his card that helped him with the battle.
Episode # 10 - The Dueling Monkey
The battle between Joey vs. Rex Raptor continues. Joey defeats Rex's monsters on the field but just then, Rex Raptor sends out his strongest dragon card, the Red Eyes Black Dragon. This card is the natural rival on the Blue Eyes White Dragon. How was Joey supposed to win? His only choice was to use time warp with the Time Wizard. This is like roulette. The Time Wizard's wand spins and the two choices are a time machine, which will speed up time and a skull, which will hurt Joey's life points. With luck and hope, the pointer lands on a time machine and turns the Red Eyes Black Dragon into a fossil. When Joey won, he also got the card along with his two star chips. After a long day on battling the gang sets up tent for the night and runs not Mai who offers them food. Then she goes off and is captured by a evil spirit. Then, Yugi and his friends met Bakura, who challenges Yugi to a battle. Bakura then used the evil spirit inside the Millennium Ring to send Yugi and his friends to the shadow realm. What is Bakura up to? To be continued..
Episode # 11 - Trial by Red Eyes
Joey duels valiantly, but Rex Raptor has unleashed his secret weapon: the Red Eyes Black Dragon! Joey must figure out the secret of the card Yugi's gift, the Time Wizard card, without Yugi's help or he's taking the next boat out of the Duelist Kingdom!
Episode # 12 - Evil Spirit of the Ring
Yugi's classmate Bakura, possessed by his Millennium Ring's dark powers, traps Yugi and friends in a Shadow Game where they become the cards themselves! Not only must Yugi battle to avoid becoming a permanent part of the card game, but also free Bakura's soul from the Millennium Ring's control!
Episode # 13 - Panik Attack
Pegasus's hired duelist Panik cheats Mai of all her star chips, and Yugi vows to defeat him and win them back. But when Panik's Castle of Dark Illusions enshrouds his monsters in a black mist, how can Yugi defeat an enemy he cannot see?
Episode # 14 - Scars of Defeat
Kaiba descends to the kingdom to face Pegasus! Has Kaiba changed since his battle with Yugi, or is he still the same merciless duelist? A battle between Kaiba's Blue Eyes White Dragon and Joey's Red Eyes Black Dragon holds the answers!
Episode # 15 - Arena of Lost Souls (Part 1)
The #1 American duelist Bandit Keith's gang kidnaps Joey to a secret cave with a Graveyard playing field. As Yugi and friends search for him, faces Bandit Keith's zombie monsters which become stronger as they return from the grave! Joey is all alone in the battle this time!
Episode # 16 - Arena of Lost Souls (Part 2)
Joey's last ditch effort, his lucky Time Wizard card, fails against Bandit Keith's zombie monsters. But as his lucky streak comes to an end, will his improving skills as a duelist and his love for his sister inspire him to victory?
Episode # 17 - Double Trouble (Part 1)
Trapped in the labyrinth cave, Yugi and friends find an alternate exit, but the door is guarded by Pegasus's Paradox Brothers. Yugi and Joey will no longer be battling solo; they band together in a team battle against the Paradox Brothers! The battle for all the star chips and entrance to Pegasus's castle is on the line!
Episode # 18 - Double Trouble (Part 2
Yugi and Joey pool their strengths and manage to fend off their opponents' monsters, but things are about to change as the Paradox Brothers summon the almighty Gate Guardian, a monster that reflects all attacks! Is Joey helping Yugi in this duel, or his lack of experience sealing their fate for defeat?
Episode # 19 - Double Trouble (Part 3)

Episode 24 - Champion vs. creator part 1
After the defeat of Seto Kaiba against Pegasus everyone is worried but are determined to win everything back. that night croquet tells them they need the kings left hand to battle Pegasus and the kings right hand to receive the 3,000,000 dollars prize money. also everyone got a letter A,B,C, or D in there soup. Yugi got A and Mai got a B so they battle in the first round and Bandit Keith got a C and Joey got a D so they battle in the second round. after dinner is over Joey has no card to qualify with so Yugi gives him the kings right hand honor card to qualify. after everyone goes to bed that night everyone starts having weird but seem real dreams. in Yugi's dream Kaiba, Mokuba, and Yugi's grandpa were telling him to never give up and you must find the secrets of the millennium puzzle. Also, tea, Tristian, and Bakura set off to see if Pegasus cheats during his matches. after awhile they see a weird place in the tower and it turns out that a game was played a long time ago. At night also, Mai organizes her cards and finally has a good way to beat Yugi. While Joey is sleeping, Bandit Keith swipes Joeys the right hand honor card away because Keith forgot to bring his. In the morning everyone seems good but all thought that everything happening was real..........
Episode 25 - champion vs. creator part 2
as the duel continues on Pegasus seems to no all of Kaiba's cards and with that power he seems to be un beatable. Pegasus later summons toon world and uses Kaiba's own dragon against him by turning the blue eyes white dragon to a blue eyes toon dragon! after Kaiba pulls another blue eyes out of his deck he seems to still be in the duel. but as Kaiba tried saggi the dark clown with the crush card earlier but failed Pegasus uses that against Kaiba leaving him with only monsters under 1500 attack to be played. can Kaiba somehow turn the duel around or will Pegasus capture his soul along with his brother mokuba forever
Episode 26 - the night before
after everyone is over with the star chips delt with Yugi losing them to Kaiba Mai gives them to Yugi after tea beat Mai in a duel and they head inside the castle. soon as they get there they see Kaiba on a bridge awaiting a duel with maxmillion pegasus for a battle for souls. if Kaiba wins he gets his brother mokuba back and if not he loses his soul! after they agree to battle on Pegasus duel stadium the duel. during the duel it seems Pegasus is not trying until he steels Kaiba's blue eyes white dragon and gets the uppercut in the duel. Pegasus knows that he can see Kaiba's cards through his hand using the millineuim eye power? will Kaiba defeat Pegasus after he uses toonworld and more tricks to come later on in the duel?

Episode 28 - Pegasus's Secret: The Eve of the Final Battle
Yugi vows to overthrow Pegasus for the sake of Grandpa. While Joey is sleeping, Bandit Keith steals his card that permits him entry to the final battle.
Episode 29 - The Shadow of Temptation: Guard Your Life
Yugi holds back the power of his Millennium Puzzle, causing Mai to gain a huge advantage.
Episode # 30 - The descend of Black Luster Soldier
Yugi is still wrestling himself when Mai only gains more advantage. Then Yugi decides to let Yami
duel with him and then Yugi is back to normal. Yami makes up a plan to defeat Mai right away.
The Black Luster Ritual! Yugi needs Kuriboh, Gaia the Fierce Knight and Black Luster Ritual for this plan.
Yugi first draws Swords of Revealing Light and he paralysis Mai's Monsters. Then Yugi starts collecting. After
one turn Yugi draws Kuriboh and he places it on the field. Then Yugi draws Beaver Warrior. And at his last chance he draws: Black Luster Ritual! First he uses Monster Reborn to bring back Gaia. Then he uses Black Luster Ritual to summon: Black Luster Soldier. He defeats Mai in one attack. And he was just in time cause Mai drew another Harpie Lady. So Yugi wins the duel because Mai gave up.
Episode 31 - The Brutal Heavy Metal Deck
Joey realizes the card that permits him entry to the final battle is missing, but he doesn’t know that Bandit Keith stole it. Desperately searching, he receives help from Mai Valentine.
Episode 32 - Transcending Time: Red Eyes and Black Metal
Bandit Keith and Joey square off for the whole shabang, but what Joey doesn't know won't hurt Bandit Keith. Too bad Pegasus has an eye on everything.

Episode 61 - The Master Of Magicians Part II
The duel heats up as time starts to run out and the life of either duelist rest's in the hand of the winner. Can Yugi win the duel and stop from being sent to the Shadow Realm?
Episode 62 - The Master of Magicians Part 3
As the duel continues to heat up every turn, Yugi must win against Arkana or he will be sent to the shadow realm. During the duel, Arkana uses a magic card called Dark Magic Curtain which allows each player to sacrifice half of there own life points to summon high level monsters. When Arkana uses this he summons dark magician and Yugi does also the same and summons dark magician girl. Since Dark Magician Girl gets 300 extra life points from dark magicians on the field and in the grave she has now 2600 because one on the field and one in Arkana's graveyard. Can Yugi manage to win the duel and can he escape before the timer on the field runs out?
Episode 63 - Playing with parasite (Part 1)
As the Battle City Tournament continues, Mai, Joey, and Yugi meet at the center of town to show how many locator cards each of them have. Mai has 4, Yugi has 3, and Joey has 2. Joey then finds he's needs to win more duels. He later finds a kid who wanted an autograph then swiped Joeys duel disk after faking him out. Later on Joey gets his duel disk back and finds Weevil Underwood who was planning to do a nasty trick to Joeys deck by sending the kid to put a card in Joeys deck. Joey then challenges Weevil for two locator cards meaning whoever loses loses everything. As the duel heats up Joey has found that the card in his deck makes his monsters insects! After Weevil summons his Great Moth, can Joey somehow defeat one of the most powerful insect monsters?
Episode 64 -Playing With a Parasite (Part 2)
As Joey and Weevil continue to duel, Joey still can’t attack because of the parasite paracide. Weevil then uses his Ultimate Great Moth to attack Joey’s Alligator sword. (Joey’s LP=3100/Weevil’s LP=5700) In the hospital, Kenta (the little boy) explains that Joey is getting creamed. And Joey doesn’t have much of a chance and should just give up. Serenity tells Kenta that he had run as well from the x-ray. Back at the duel, Joey draws a card that he thinks will help him out. He then sets that card face down and puts all his monsters in attack mode even though everyone thinks he’s going crazy. When Great Moth attacks, Joey uses Skull dice to reduce its attack to 1750 and then uses Graceful Dice to increase his parasite’s attack to 2000. Joey destroys the Great Moth!! Weevil get really furious, but then he plays Insect Soldier and plays aerosol can to destroy Hiphopper and he summons Insect Queen. Weevil explains that its attack raises for every insect’s attack points. Insect Queen has an attack of 3200. Weevil then sacrifices Leghul and destroys Joey’s Tiny Guardian. (Joey’s L=1000/Weevil’s LP=5700) Insect Queen lays an egg. Joey then sets a card. Weevil attacks (sacrificing Coach Roach Knight) but Joey plays his trap taking one of Weevil’s monsters and defending his LP. (Joey’s LP=1000/Weevil’s LP=3250) Joey puts his monsters in defense mode. Weevil sacrifices a Roach Knight and destroys his panther warrior. Joey begins to give up, but everyone gives him a prep talk about his sister. Joey then plays a card face down and summons Gearfried the Iron Knight. Parasite Paracide can’t absorb it because it’s metal. He then attacks the eggs, as they are 0 attack and 0 defense. Weevil summons ant warriors but Joey uses Graverobber to take the can of aerosol and destroys the Insect Queen. Joey then attacks the eggs again and wins the duel.
Episode 65 Mind Control Part 1
After the duel with Weevil, Joey is a little psyched about winning but he gets over it. Tristan asks why Joey didn't take The Great Moth and Joey responds by saying that he has to have Larvae Moth and Cocoon of Evolution to sprout it out so he didn't take it. Later on the puppet master Strings is controlled by Marik and tells Strings to find Yami Yugi. Once he challenges he finds Yugi and is forced to duel Marik (Strings). The puppet master has said that if Yami loses that he will kill him and take his millennium puzzle. Can Yami Yugi win the duel as Marik is about to play his Egyptian god card, Slifer the Sky Dragon?
Episode 66 Mind Control Part 2
With Yami Yugi trapped in the card called Nightmare cage, he wont be able to stop Marik from summoning Silfer the Sky Dragon. So Marik uses the advantage to summon Silfer the Sky Dragon by Sacrificing slime tokens from the Jam Breeding Machine. Losing his confindence in winning he then says he can win if he believes in the heart of the cards. As kaiba sees Yugis duel he also is starting to find that Silfer can be beaten. But Can Yami Yugi beat the egyptian god card Silfer?
Episode 67 Mind Control Part 3
After Yugi believes he can defeat silfer, he starts to think of how he can when Marik plays infinite cards and returned of the doom which allows him to have as many cards as he wants and revived monsters allow him to draw three cards. Also he plays Revival Jam which revives it self when killed. After thinking of how to when Yami Yugi draws monster reborn. He revives Revival Jam and causes the monster to attack once a monster is revived. This Also allows Marik to draw three cards. So since Revival Jam revives it self and since Silfer has to attack a revived monster Marik keeps drawing all of his cards and when he is out he loses the duel and claims Silfer the Sky Dragon. Afterward though Marik has made a threat to Yugis friends. Will Yugi be able to save them before Marik controls them
Episode 68 Legendary Fisherman Part 1
As Yugi continues to search for his friends, He finds to rare hunters who want to challenge Yugi and Kaiba then steps in and joins Yugi for a tag team duel. After Kaiba tributes his three Blue Eyes White Dragons, he summons Obelisk the Tormentor and beats both of the rare hunters and each of them earns a locator card. Later on, Joey is looking for another duel when he sees that Mako Tsunami is helping out on a aqurium show on a poster. He rushes to the aqurium to find Mako. After a deal the crowd gets to see a duel instead of a show. They bet 2 locator cards and whoever wins goes to the finals. Even though Joey is winning in the duel, Mako says its not over yet for i have the best water duel monster that has incredible power. Can Joey win against Mako?
